  • Explain what Indian Star Registry does?
  • Giving away a star named after someone special to you is a symbolic novelty gift. We offer a service to name real stars. The stars that are named through Indian Star Registry does not claim to be the official star naming agency(IAU). Each star name will be filed and registered once only. It is not possible to actually own a stellar object as nobody (or everybody, depending on your way of looking at it) has ownership.
  • Will my star be unique to me?
  • Each star name will be filed and registered in The Indian Star Registry once only. The star name will be recorded in our Indian star registry catalogue which can be viewed in www.indianstarregistry.com.
  • Can I choose my own stars?
  • Ones in Indian star registry website please go to Goggle Map or Star Search pages to find the available stars and there locations and information about the stars.
  • What do I get along with the star?
  • You would be provided with a laminated certificate which would have the star co ordinates and the name you have chosen for that particular star
  • How can I buy ‘You are a star’?
  • You can fill in an online line application form and provide your credit card details and the package would be shipped to the address provided.
  • Can I become a Global Star Registry reseller?

  • What is community program?
  • community program is an interesting way to make money along with letting your friends known about the star you purchased.
  • How do i become a community program member?
  • Go to the community program link and register the form provided and forward the link given to you after the registration
  • How do i earn community program money?
  • when community link is viewed or a purchase is made your account would be updated with a percentage of your earnings from your pool money.
  • How will i recieve the community program money?
  • At the end of the contest a cheque or D.D would be drafted on your name and would be send to the address provided during the community program registration.
